A story that began in 1950

In 1950 Umberto Confalonieri, with commitment and inspiration, created his Company for metalworking in Giussano. Since then, the Company has grown and developed thanks to the work and commitment of the generations that have followed at his helm. Today, having reached the third generation, Gruppo Confalonieri competes in the world by pursuing manufacturing excellence, aesthetic-functional innovation and design quality.

From the initial production of furniture accessories for third parties, in the early 1960s the Company moves into extremely innovative territory: making use of the contribution of designers and introducing the zamak die-casting technology, it becomes the first manufacturer of furniture accessories of design with its own catalog of Confalonieri-branded products.

Design, quality and service become the three pillars of the Gruppo Confalonieri philosophy. Starting in the 1970s, the Company expanded its offer by diversifying the production types with technical hardware, furnishing accessories such as coat hooks, shelf supports and furniture handles.

The 80s see the Company consolidates its leadership through the expansion of the range and the progressive expansion into international markets.

In this decade a modular program was born to create grab bars, handrails and bathroom aids: Programma Coba soon becomes the reference standard of the market.

The development of the product range, accomplished through careful reading of new lifestyles, new contemporary trends, the specificities of international markets and the articulation of the offer are the aspects that most characterize Gruppo Confalonieri’s commitment during the 2000s.

The acquisition of Con&Con spa and Lorenzo Invernizzi srl ratify the birth of Gruppo Confalonieri.

Strengthened by its history and with the enthusiasm of its origins, today Gruppo Confalonieri is a point of reference in the furnishing accessory business and a partner of the most important distribution, furniture and contract manufacturing companies, in Italy and around the world.
